Black Bear Camp is located approximately one hour west of Sudbury, ON; three hours east of Sault Ste. Marie, ON (MI) or six hours north of Toronto, ON. We are situated on beautiful Birch Lake (Gough Lake) a great swimming lake with a sandy bottom.

Stay in one of our clean HK lakefront cabins or our spacious campground.  We have docking, swim raft, playground, store, bait, ice, gas and oil, sauna and much more to make your stay enjoyable.

Our ATV trails are not marked; but, because we are located on a logging road that extends for another hundred miles with all kinds of secondary roads and trails leading off it, you can explore to your hearts content.  For the novice to the experienced rider, our area has swamps, rivers, lakes, hills, electric lines, chutes, old growth forests and much more to offer the outdoor enthusiasts.  Meal plans are available to groups of four or more in the spring and fall only or bring your own food and cook in our well equipped cabins.

Good fishing for smallmouth bass, lake trout, walleye, jumbo perch, northern pike, whitefish with brook trout rivers and lakes nearby.
