Pine Grove Resort Cottages is a pet-friendly resort situated on 225 acres of forested land on the shores of the Pickerel River at Port Loring,   We are a 3 ½ hour drive north of Toronto and 10 minutes from the tiny town of Port Loring.
 
The cottages are nestled in tall evergreens and are well spaced for privacy.  We offer superb and well-maintained accommodation featuring new kitchen appliances, four piece baths, excellent beds, wood burning fireplaces and gas barbeques.  Boats, motors, fish finders, gas, bait, screened fish cleaning facility and freezer service are available.
 
The sheltered waters of the Pickerel River offer fishing principally for pickerel (walleye), northern pike and bass.  Inquire about outpost lakes that offer an added experience for the more adventuresome among you.
 
A variety of outdoor activities are available for fun and exercise.  In addition to swimming on our sand beach, you can play volleyball, horseshoes, badminton, go hiking and also experience cliff jumping down the river.  A backroads tour will take you to small museums, artisans and a honey farm.  During July and August there is a Farmer’s Market every Wednesday, and the Library is always open.
 
Your pets will enjoy “Dog-Patch” our just-for-fun agility course.  They will also love our trail system where they can experience all the new smells and can “water” the plants till their heart’s content.
 
In winter, enjoy the “Chalet” and “Farmhouse” for your snowmobiling, cross-country skiing or snowshoe adventures,  or for just enjoying the beauty and quiet of the season.

Ma famille et moi sommes d'accord à il n'y a pas d'endroit aussi magnifique ni aussi parfait que la région de l'arc-en-ciel. Beaucoup d'entre nous, dont moi, avons voyagé partout et nous en sommes tous venus à la conclusion que nous avons ce qu'il y a de mieux ici. De fait, deux des membres de ma famille viennent de prendre leur retraite et ont acheté des chalets dans la région et prévoient passer le plus de temps possible, tant en hiver qu'en été.
